• Free ($0) is for checking a few domains or keywords. You get 1 demo project and 10 reports a day across the main tools.
• SEO ($139 monthly, $117.33 yearly) suits a freelancer or small business doing SEO only. You can monitor 5 websites and track 500 keywords daily, with keyword research, Position Tracking, Site Audit and basic AI search tracking.
• Starter, SEO + AI Search ($199 monthly, $165.17 yearly) gives the same 5 sites and 500 keywords, plus AI visibility tracking: 50 prompts a day, 1 domain for AI brand performance and 300 AI visibility reports a day. It adds MCP access and fuller keyword and competitor tools.
• Pro+, SEO + AI Search ($299 monthly, $248.17 yearly) suits agencies and in-house teams covering more sites. You get 15 websites, 1,500 keywords daily, 100 AI prompts, historical data, content optimisation, cannibalisation analysis and multi-location tracking.
• Advanced has custom pricing, 40+ websites, 5,000+ keywords, API access and team users.

Semrush says yearly billing saves up to 17%. Over a year:

• SEO: $1,668 billed monthly against $1,407.96 billed yearly, a saving of $260.04.
• Starter: $2,388 against $1,982.04, a saving of $405.96.
• Pro+: $3,588 against $2,978.04, a saving of $609.96.

• Tracking 1,000 keywords a day: the SEO and Starter plans stop at 500, so you need Pro+ at $299 a month (or $248.17 billed yearly).
• Two people on one account: additional users start at $45 a month. If the plan price covers one user (the page doesn't say how many are included), the SEO plan for two costs at least $184 a month on monthly billing.
• Client reports: the Base Report add-on is $10 a month and the white-label Pro Report is $20 a month.

• Additional users: from $45 a month each. The page gives only the starting price.
• Lead Generation (agency listing and verified badge): $90 a month.
• Base Report: $10 a month. Pro Report: $20 a month.

For one person doing SEO on a few sites, the SEO plan at $117.33 a month billed yearly is the cheapest paid option. Starter adds AI search visibility tracking for $47.84 a month more on yearly billing. Look at Pro+ once you need more than 500 tracked keywords, more than 5 sites or historical data. Yearly billing saves $609.96 a year on it.
