beehiiv pricing and plans

• Free ($0) is for starting a newsletter. You get up to 2,500 subscribers, 1 team seat, 1 publication, 30 days of analytics, unlimited email sends, landing pages and the recommendation network. It doesn't include paid subscriptions.
• Lite ($49 a month at 1,000 subscribers, billed yearly) is for making money from a newsletter. You get up to 100,000 subscribers, 2 seats, 3 publications and 12 months of analytics. It adds paid subscriptions at a 0% take rate, ad monetisation, automations, polls and A/B testing. beehiiv's branding stays on.
• Pro ($95 a month at 1,000 subscribers, billed yearly) is for bigger or brand-led publications. You get up to 250,000 subscribers, 10 seats, 10 publications, unlimited analytics history, branding removal, webinars, webhooks, dynamic content and 24/7 priority support.
• Enterprise (custom pricing) adds SSO, dedicated IPs and a customer success manager.

• Lite at 1,000 subscribers for a year: $588.
• Pro at 1,000 subscribers for a year: $1,140, which is $552 more than Lite.
• A paid newsletter with 200 subscribers paying $5 a month brings in $1,000 a month. With a 0% take rate, beehiiv keeps none of that. Card fees aren't listed on beehiiv's pricing page.
• Growing past 2,500 subscribers means leaving the free plan. beehiiv doesn't publish prices above 1,000 subscribers, so we can't quote 10,000 yet.

• The Free plan caps you at 2,500 subscribers and 1 seat.
• Lite can't remove beehiiv branding. That starts on Pro.
• Analytics history is 30 days on Free and 12 months on Lite.
• Monthly-billing prices weren't shown when we checked. The figures above are for yearly billing.
• The plan cards show 'Avg. $39/mo' next to ad monetisation. The page doesn't say what that average covers, so treat it as a rough guide, not what you'll earn.

The free plan covers a newsletter up to 2,500 subscribers. Move to Lite at $49 a month (yearly, at 1,000 subscribers) when you want paid subscriptions, ads or automations. Pro at $95 a month mainly removes beehiiv branding and adds more seats and publications, and priority support. For list size, Lite already allows up to 100,000 subscribers.
